AKA group of companies had a modest start in the year 1961. It was Found
by Shaikh Ahmed K. Alamoudi and considered today as one of the largest
conglomerates in the KSA with influence spreading into the other GCC through its trading, manufacturing, services, training, IT solution activities, real-estate and investment departments.
Started with PPG and AKZONOBEL “ Mekkah Car Paint Factory”. With expansion vision and planning the Group expanded with: Regional Markets Products.
AKA Group now operates in different industries such as automotive, spare parts & services, paint products, tools and equipments, real estate, land development, building materials, infrastructure development, and electronic communications and general trading and transfer of knowledge. Experience and Know How modified and improved to suit the region needs. We are proud to have 35% of the Market shares of the Automotive Refinish industry in Saudi Arabia.
The group is financially very strong with hardly any loan commitments for its normal operations. With net assets in excess of Hundreds of Millions of Dollars, the group employs over 1300 people and owns a network of over 130 points of sale.
The success of the group has largely been due to its ability to forge long
standing alliances, joint ventures, dealerships and license arrangements
with multinational organizations (such as AKSONOBLE AKZO NOBEL, PPG, I.C.R ITALLY, 3M, FARECLA, MIRKA, INP, TUK, STARCHEM, RUPES, DRESTER, HUTCHINS, TRISK, TKX, IWATA, GARMAT, GOFF, FILTERAIR, CAR-O-LINER). These relationships have been carefully nurtured so that the AKA Group now touches the lives of people in the KSA and other GCC countries in many different ways.
Furthermore, AKA has invested in several European countries and relationships with Japanese, American , Canadian, French, German, British , Dutch and Chinese companies which lead to spread its influence further in the field.

Business has increased steadily with the growth of KSA and other GCC countries throughout the 1960s.
